Baby Basics Bromley

Welcome to Baby Basics Bromley

About Us

Baby Basics Bromley is based in The Hope Centre, Walnuts Shopping Centre, Orpington. We support all referrals for the borough of Bromley and surrounding area. When a referral comes in from any of the surrounding boroughs and we are able to help, then we will.

We work alongside midwives, social workers and other healthcare professionals and charities to provide much needed items and help for vulnerable groups including families facing financial difficulties, teenage mums, asylum seekers, women fleeing domestic violence and trafficking, those with mental health issues and the homeless – any new mum or family who need our help at the time when their new baby is due.

We believe that Baby Basics shows God’s love in action, it is a testament to the love and care He has for all His children.

We provide Starter Packs for those who are referred to us.

Our Moses Baskets starter packs provide a bed for baby to sleep in – and they are filled with all of the essentials needed for baby- toiletries, nappies, clothes, towel, muslin etc as well as there being toiletries and essentials for mum post birth- breast pads, maternity pads etc. We are also sometime able to provide for a young child up to the age of 2, depending on the donations we have in store at the time.

Other larger items, eg baths, sterilisers, playmats, prams are also sometimes available.

We work on a referral basis only.

For some, these gifts are the only items they have for their baby.
